Bernard ShapiroMr. Shapiro graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in 1975 with the degree of Juris Doctor. He is qualified as an attorney to represent clients in Social Security cases nationwide in both claims and appeals. He is admitted to practice in the Courts of New York and Connecticut.

Mr. Shapiro has lectured in the field of Social Security Disability claims at hospitals, social service agencies, governmental agencies and the Connecticut Bar Association and worked with Social Security claimants since 1981. His background includes working with doctors, therapists and others in the preparation of cases for presentation to Social Security officials and judges as well as special training in the evaluation of vocational (work) history, medical and psychiatric conditions.

Mr. Shapiro has been an Arbitrator in the Small Claims Part of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association a member of the New York State Supreme Court Medical Malpractice Panel, Chairman of the Disability Law Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association, member of the New York Social Security Bar Association and is a sustaining member of the National Association of Social Security Claimants Representatives.

John SiegelMr. Siegel graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1966 with the degree of Juris Doctor. He is qualified as an attorney to represent clients in Social Security cases nationwide in both claims and appeals. He is admitted to practice in the Courts of New York, Connecticut and Florida.

This area of the practice is headed by Toby M. Schaffer, who is admitted to the state and federal courts in Connecticut and New York, and has been practicing law for twenty six years.
